A little poetry by Beaha

The delicate rhythm of my hair
Dancing, intertwinning one strand around another
Dancing, intertwinning one strand around another
One strand around another until they are
LOCKED
100% natural-organic-waterproof
Never a bad hair day
Tickling my neck
Gently sweeping my lover’s face
Strong enough for my lover to hold onto in the heat of passion
Strong enough for an infant to grasp onto for security
YET
So delicate and fragile sometimes one attaching to another
Pairing together for strength
DREAD
To regard with a profoundly humble and reverential attitude in the presence of
Something sacred, inspiring, sublime beauty
LOCK
A strand or ringlet of hair
LOCK
Interlacing of parts
MY
DREAD
LOCKS.

Peace
